ILOVETHIS|
- Adrenaline
Oliver loves walking on the line, knowing that what he’s doing might get him in trouble. He loves speed, and heights, and danger. Anything that can give him that rush of adrenaline. He’s a little bit of a junkie.- Music
Oliver is musical, if he won’t admit it. He can’t sing a lick, but he loves to anyways, especially in the car. He can play guitar, and wants to learn piano. The music to him is like a language that your ears can’t process but the heart can. Oliver’s guitar is to Oliver as chocolate is to a PMSing woman. It just calms him down, lets him play out his emotion. He doesn’t share emotion well. Actually, he doesn’t share well in general.- Being a Jerk
One of Oliver’s biggest joys in life is making other people uncomfortable. He loves watching how people are always careful to step around awkward places and don’t know how to respond when they’re in one. Knowing how easy it is to manipulate emotions makes him feel powerful. Speaking of which…- Power (like, control. Not… electricity. Or like… superpowers.)
Oliver wishes he were one of the royals, because the idea of having that kind of power appeals to him greatly. He loves how he can manipulate people, and how easily they let themselves be manipulated. He believes he deserves to be in a place of power, even though he’d probably be a terrible leader.- Never Calling Back
Oliver is a flirt, he won’t deny it. He enjoys it. Learning what makes the girls tick is very fun. As well, he enjoys the fact that they like the idea of a bad boy in many cases, an he feels he falls into that category. I mean, he isn’t a nice person. He’s a jerk. Sarcasm is his lifestyle.- Tradition
When it comes to some things, Oliver likes tradition. He doesn’t necessarily think that all cooking should be done by women, and that cleaning is not a job for men (in fact, he doesn’t mind it). He just believes that traditions are important. At Christmastime the family should get together and decorate a freshly chopped tree. He doesn’t like when women wear pants when they’re getting dressed up. Mostly because he thinks it makes them look manly, and he for one appreciates the beauty of a female body in any shape. He believes that if there is mistletoe, a kiss must ensue if you’re underneath. He believes in manners, and good etiquette too.
IHATETHIS|
- Being Dead
He hates the idea that he no longer has a heartbeat. He doesn’t like the concept of not being a living breathing sex icon for the ladies, instead he’s a cold, dead sex icon. It just doesn’t quite hold the same appeal. However; they were mostly dead themselves. Except the occasional and rare outsider, who he quickly tries to woo, because, you know… they’re not dead. Dead girls seem to be the same, always so cold towards him.- Feminists
The problem with feminists is they always assume he’s gay, or they don’t fall for his charm. He spends a lot of time in front of his mirror practicing his lines and moves… actually, he spends a lot of the time in front of the mirror in general. He can’t help it. He’s sexy. Not that the feminists would agree.- Camden Twain
This guy is actually deep once in a while, and whether intentional or not, the ladies see it. He seems to land the girls easily (or fail epicly), and Oliver is jealous of him. He also is jealous of the fact that Camden has a property named after him, albeit a cemetery. Camden is well known in town, and generally more accepted than himself. Oliver was originally an outsider and died shortly after arriving. Camden had been there a long time.- Math
There’s something about all those numbers mixing together that Oliver just can’t understand, and not understanding things frustrates him. He doesn’t understand why it’s so important that Sine equals Opposite over Hypotenuse or that a-squared plus b-squared equals c-squared. It’s just stupid.- Bad Communication
He hates when he can’t understand people. It just irks him to no end. When people mumble, it drives him crazy, or when they whisper to each other and he can’t hear no matter how he strains? That’s infuriating. He also doesn’t like when he has to explain things differently than he did the first time. Why can’t they just keep up?

MYWEAKNESSES|
- Vain

QUIRKS&HABITS|
- Tantrums- Oliver has a habit of having tantrums. He doesn’t scream and kick and hit. He may snap at you and storm off into his room, slam his door and not come out. And God help the person who enters, because they’ll get ripped to shreds. At this point any comment he may make will be icy and scarring.
- Obsessive- When Oliver doesn’t get what he wants he may become obsessed with it. This includes things, goals, quotas, and people. He’ll have difficulty sitting still, and focusing on anything but that.
- Being Blunt- He doesn’t realize sometimes, what he should or shouldn’t say. He just always says the truth. He’s honest. He doesn’t lies. He tells bent truths.
OVERALLPERSONALITY|
Oliver is a complex creature. Basically he’s one way outwardly, and he’s convinced himself that’s who he is on the inside to, but he isn’t that way at all. He treats everyone like they’re not worthy of his attention, and has a habit of picking people apart with logic based around a single flaw. He always has a nasty word at the ready and a personal insult that’s prepared for launch. He may be smart and intelligent, but to find that out you’d have to deal with the rest of his personality and nobody wants to do that.
Oliver can be charming when he wants something, which normally means girls or money. Other than that, he’s rather blunt and straight-forward. A no BS kind of guy, which is something he respects in other people. He has this thing about respect. He doesn’t respect you if you don’t respect him, but if you earn his respect and someone goes around badmouthing you you’ve got a killer weapon on your side.
Oliver is prone to outburst of anger, though sometimes the anger is his way of dealing with guilt or sadness. He has a nasty temper to him and can be quite aggressive. However; he refuses to hit a lady, unless it is for her own sake.
Inwardly Oliver is a poet. He’s creative and can always see the beauty in everything. He comes off as headstrong and determined to the point of being stupid, but that’s just because he can always see the silver lining. He’s a jealous person, but for years he’s felt no attention, and after such a sudden stop it was something he hasn’t been able to deal with emotionally.
He’s not good at dealing with things emotionally. He doesn’t like to be introspective. He prefers to look at and criticize others. He hates when people understand him, even if he doesn’t realize they understand him, because he won’t admit the truth to himself.
The truth is… he’s sorry.

OVERALLHISTORY|
Oliver Warren Last was born to Tara and Jonah Last on August 28th. He was a healthy child, and was much loved by both Tara and Jonah. Oliver was always smart; he walked, talked, and performed music earlier than most toddlers, and was adored by family friends. He loved the attention, and he loved how it felt like he was the only thing that mattered.
When Oliver was four, and beginning school, he was met by a twist. His mother was having another child. Oliver was happy at the idea of having a brother to play with, and loved his brother from the moment he saw him. Little Alexander. Alec always looked up to Oliver, and Oliver wasn’t one to shy away from another adoring fan. He showed off, and Alec became his biggest fan.
Then, not so long after Alexander, Halley was born. Oliver did not want another sibling, not in the least. It was hard enough keeping up appearances for one, now he had another. And a girl on top of it all! He hated his little sister, and sometimes wondered if she were actually his sister and not a faery childe set out to be his downfall. She looked nothing like him, with his dark hair and eyes. She was blonde, with green eyes, and like himself, musically talented. Oliver feared falling from the spotlight.
As Halley became the child in the family who was fawned over, Alexander was growing up, and falling away from the role of fan to Oliver. He was growing into a guardian position with Halley, and Oliver was incredibly jealous. At ten years old, he began acting out, trying to get the spotlight back. He began to cuss in school, to argue with his teachers. At home his attitude brought down the mood of the whole place.
As he grew older, the next few years were filled with worse things still. He got suspended, and then expelled, and was forced to hop from school to school. He stayed out late, and never let anyone know where he was going. His family worried for him, but he didn’t realize how much pain he was causing, because he never saw the reactions he was seeking. His grades never dropped through the process, which was something his parents found odd. They just couldn’t comprehend why he would act in such a way.
Oliver decided that he would attend Halley’s graduation, as she was family, and he never missed a chance to put on formal clothing. He didn’t care for the girl, but she was his sister all the same. As her name was called for her award, he clapped, grinning. The first time he had ever felt pride in his sister was a brilliant one. She looked shocked from her spot near the podium as she saw the grin on Oliver’s face.
The grin faded gradually that night though, as Oliver watched Halley climb and descend the stairs to the stage again and again. Art award. Music award. Citizenship. Academics. Leadership. His face was overrun by a nasty glowering expression. He was silent on the way home. His parents bid their children goodnight, and Alex went to his room as well. The conversation between Oliver and Halley went like this:
“Why can’t you just be happy for me… just this once Oliver?”
“I was happy for you. The first award you got.”
“So you’re limited to one?”
“Why should I be proud that my sister is a brown-noser.”
“You should be proud that I’m a good person. Just because you aren’t-”
“I’m a good person.”
“If you were a good person you would have won the awards that I did when you graduated elementary school.”
Oliver was overcome by rage. The next few moments were ones he would always regret. He reached out and knocked his sister over. She gasped and tumbled down the stairs, into the basement. Time seemed to slow down, and he finally realized that her neck shouldn’t be bent that way. He ran that night.
He took Alexander’s car, and drove. When he reached Belmill, he stopped for the night. As he was ascending the stairs to one of the storefronts, he tripped. Though the staircase was small, the fall broke his neck. Karma’s a bitch.
